Begin by shaping a lightweight core (foam or wire mesh) to define the overall structure. Apply ConcreteClay in controlled layers, allowing you to carve strata, erosion lines, and natural stone textures while the material remains workable. Mix MakeMake Fibres in the first layer of ConcreteClay to increase tensile strength. Finish the surface with concrete paint — a mixture of Colour Pigments and Colour Fix — which adds natural coloration and simultaneously seals the structure for outdoor exposure, high humidity environments, or continuous animal interaction.
