With MakeMake’s Dental Grade Plaster, you are perfectly equipped to cast high-quality figurines using alginate or latex moulds. This is our most resilient casting plaster, approximately 16 times stronger than standard plaster (reaching up to 80 MPa), resulting in exceptionally robust and finely detailed casts.

This casting plaster serves as an excellent alternative to concrete for projects requiring a rapid turnaround.

Mixing Instructions:

The consistency can be adjusted based on your specific requirements:

  • Creamy consistency: 1 kg of plaster powder to approx. 270 ml of water.

  • Fluid consistency: 1 kg of plaster powder to 300 ml of water.

Please note: Adding excess water beyond these recommendations will slightly reduce the final structural strength of the cast.

Working Parameters:

  • Mixing time: Maximum 1 minute.

  • Working time: Maximum 10 minutes.

  • Setting time: Minimum 30 minutes.

*Tip: To effectively minimise air bubbles, gently tap the mould against your work surface during and immediately after pouring to encourage air release and ensure a flawless finish.

This high-performance plaster is compatible with Colour Fix™ and various colour pigments. Due to the high-density structure of this professional-grade plaster, Colour Fix™ will not be absorbed into the surface to the same degree as it would be on more porous substrates, such as concrete.

To achieve the best results, we recommend waiting until your plaster casting is fully cured before applying any finish. A fully cured piece is at its most porous, allowing it to better absorb and retain the pigment. Conversely, if the plaster is freshly cast, the presence of residual water within the structure will significantly reduce the surface's absorption capacity.
