This super-liquid, high-performance dipping medium is engineered with micro-fine iron particles to deliver an exceptionally realistic rust finish. Designed for ease of use, it is ideal for coating intricate components, natural elements, and complex geometries that are difficult to achieve with traditional brushes.

Technical Kit Composition:

500 g Dipping Rust: High-flow metallic suspension for high-fidelity texture simulation.
100 g Adhesion Medium: Critical bonding agent required for non-porous or non-absorbent substrates to ensure long-term durability.
Protective Gloves: One set of industrial-grade gloves for safe handling during the process.

Applications:

Botanical & Natural Elements: Suitable for fresh/dried flowers, foliage, and grasses (both real and synthetic).
Structural Substrates: Optimized for wood, cork, rigid foam, polystyrene, and saturated, stiffened textiles.
Surface Preparation: Requires pre-treatment with the included Adhesion Medium to ensure a secure bond.

Description

To ensure secure adhesion of the Dipping Rust to the substrate, objects must be pre-treated with the included Adhesion Medium. For larger components or complex geometries impractical for dipping, the rust medium may be applied using a brush.

Technical Specifications & Safety:

Composition: Formulated without solvents and non-toxic, ensuring high safety standards in workshop environments.
Curing Time: Approximately 60–80 minutes depending on atmospheric conditions and coating thickness.
Post-Processing: The final rust aesthetic can be further modified and enhanced using a technical oxidising agent to achieve bespoke patination.
