With 1 L of Liquid Latex and 5% Thickener, you’re ready to create professional-quality latex molds. Latex and Thickener are supplied separately for precise mixing.

Mold Preparation
Start by applying pure latex to your object. After building several layers, add the Thickener to subsequent layers to achieve a thicker consistency. This allows you to reach the desired mold thickness faster. See full usage instructions below.

Low Ammonia Formula
Our latex contains only 0.2% ammonia (compared to 0.6% in standard latex), reducing odor. Strong ventilation is still recommended, not for safety, but to minimize minor respiratory irritation.

Storage & Handling
Liquid Latex and molds must be protected from sunlight and stored in the dark. Work indoors, under shelter, or in shaded areas. Latex is also sensitive to oils and Metal PRO pigments. Recommended storage temperature: 10°C–30°C.

Description

Liquid latex can be applied by brush or by dipping your object. Apply one layer at a time, allowing each to dry fully (turns slightly yellow) before adding the next. Best results come from thin layers; apply 20–30 layers for optimal thickness.

Thickener Option
Add 1–5% MakeMake Thickener after the first 5–8 layers to increase viscosity and allow thicker coats. Drying time is slightly longer.

Flexibility & Strength
Increase mold flexibility by placing it in a tumble dryer or oven at 70°C for 2 hours. Include a damp towel (tumble dryer) or a water bowl (oven) to maintain moisture.

Color & Effects
Mix MakeMake Pigments for custom-colored latex. Suitable for effect makeup, creating wounds, wrinkles, or torn skin. Test on a small skin area for allergies.

Important Notes

Cannot be poured around objects; use Liquid Silicone for that method.
Not suitable for all casting concretes—high heat may stick the mold.

Storage & Shelf Life
6 months from purchase. Store in a dark, dry place at 10–30°C, away from direct sunlight.
