Dipping Kit - Copper

EUR 23,96

This super-liquid dipping metal is engineered for coating intricate objects and high-detail components that are difficult to cover using traditional brush techniques. For non-porous or non-absorbent surfaces, the included Adhesion Medium ensures a secure and durable bond between the substrate and the metallic coating.

Kit Composition:

  • 250 ml Dipping Metal – Copper: High-flow metallic coating for seamless coverage.

  • 100 g Adhesion Medium: Bonding agent for non-absorbent surfaces.

  • Protective Gloves: One set of industrial-grade gloves for safe handling.

Applications:

  • Botanical Preservation: Ideal for creating "everlasting" floral arrangements. Suitable for both fresh and dried plants, as well as natural elements like pine cones.

  • Textile & Mixed Media: Can be applied to fabrics and various structural materials for bespoke design projects.

  • Event Design: Perfect for high-end decor for milestones such as copper, silver, or golden anniversaries.

Usage Recommendations: While highly versatile, results may vary depending on the organic material's density. For complex geometries, the dipping method ensures a uniform finish that maintains the object's fine details. The set is also available in Gold, Silver, Rust, and Concrete finishes, allowing for sophisticated multi-tonal combinations.

For optimal surface preparation, apply the Adhesion Medium by dipping the object directly into the medium. For specific areas or complex geometries, a brush application is also suitable. To prevent the accumulation of excess medium or surface running, suspend the object upside down during the curing process.

Technical Specifications & Curing:

  • Adhesion Layer: Drying time is approximately 60 minutes.

  • Coating Process: Once the adhesion layer is stable, dip the object into the dipping metal. Use a brush for any required detailing to ensure 100% surface coverage.

  • Final Finish: Suspend the object upside down to dry. The dipping metal cures in approximately 60 minutes, resulting in a smooth, shimmering metallic surface.

Surface Oxidation The metallic finish can be technically aged or distressed by applying an oxidising agent. This allows for controlled patination and the creation of verdigris effects on specific areas of the model, providing an authentic weathered aesthetic.
