DAS Wood is a specialized, water-based modelling medium formulated with soft wood fibres. This unique composition creates an authentic, timber-like finish. Its lightweight and pliable consistency makes it an excellent choice for architectural prototypes, organic sculptures, and exhibit detailing.

Technical Specifications & Application:

Composition: Water-based formula enriched with natural wood fibres for a smooth, high-detail texture.
Workability: The material remains supple during the design phase. Edges and surfaces can be seamlessly refined by applying small amounts of water during the modelling process.
Curing Process: As a self-hardening medium, it requires no kiln firing or oven baking.
Drying Time: Standard curing rate is approximately 24 hours per 1 centimetre of thickness (subject to environmental humidity and temperature).
Post-Processing: Once fully cured, the material offers excellent structural integrity. It can be sanded, carved, painted, or sealed.
