DAS Mineral Black is an air-drying modelling clay with a deep, intense black colour and natural mineral glitter, giving your creations a beautiful, subtle sparkling finish. Its unique composition makes it ideal for decorative figures, sculptures and creative details where you want the black colour to stand out.

The deep black surface also creates a striking contrast with metallic colours such as gold, silver and copper, which really come to life against the dark background.

The clay is water-based and made from minerals and plant-based binders. It hardens naturally in the air in approximately 12–24 hours, so no oven or firing is required.

Give your creations an even deeper black finish

Once the clay has dried, you can paint and decorate it as desired. To enhance the intense black colour even further, you can finish your creations with DAS Vernidas varnish, which gives the surface a deeper, darker black tone.

DAS Mineral Black is particularly suitable for home decorations, decorative objects, sculptures, dioramas, miniature landscapes and gaming miniatures – but the possibilities are endless!
